Wynne Police Department News Release

On May 26, 2015, Wynne Police Department Officer Jeremy McNeil responded to a citizen’s 911 call reporting a residential burglary on West Merriman Avenue in Wynne. Officer McNeil responded to the call and observed that entry had been gained through exterior windows of the home. Officer McNeil discovered multiple fingerprints at the residence. The homeowner reported two computers value at $1800.00 as being stolen in the burglary.
Detective Mike Smith responded to the crime scene and lifted multiple fingerprints from the crime scene. The latent prints were submitted to the Arkansas State Crime Lab on June 9th, 2015 for analysis. The Arkansas State Crime Lab identified multiple fingerprints lifted at the crime scene to be the fingerprints of Jordon Hoard.
On Friday July 17th, 2015 Suspect Jordan Hoard was arrested and charged with residential burglary and theft and is currently being held on $75,000.00 bond. Jordon Hoard was out on $50,000.00 bond for battery charges in a separate incident at the time of his arrest. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
