WYNNE POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE

On Saturday, July 11th, 2015, at approximately 1:00 am, Wynne Police Department Sgt. Jonathon Fought was dispatched following two 911 calls reporting four juveniles attacking an elderly man on L street in Wynne. Upon arrival, Sgt. Fought discovered 56 year old Harrison Lee lying on the ground unconscious and bleeding. The victim was initially taken to the Cross Ridge Hospital then transferred to the Regional One Health-Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis for treatment of severe injuries.
Based on the information Sgt. Fought gathered during the initial investigation, Detective Rolland Geror located and interviewed the four juveniles involved. As a result of the investigation it was determined that the attack was gang related. Two Juveniles have been arrested and arrest warrants have been issued for the other two juveniles. All four juveniles are being charged as adults with Battery in the second degree. Bond has been set in the amount of $100,000.00 for all four juveniles involved.
